CPM: IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE

This unit is about surface and sub-surface irrigation methods, the suitability, the advantages and disadvantages of each method were treated. Also the various methods of draining excess water from the land, the advantages and the disadvantages of each method were discussed. Irrigation and drainage are integral part of any sustainable crop production programme.
