Agriculture is a vocational subject and this book has been specially developed to be practical. Throughout this course, emphasis has been placed not merely on what you, the learner, know (knowledge) but rather what you can do (skill or applicability) with the acquired knowledge to solve real-life problems in your community.

Did you know that you can earn money through crop or livestock production projects? Can you think of some of the opportunities in agriculture that can earn you income? Learning Agriculture provides a set of skills for occupation, thus making the subject vocational.
