It is the last Friday in the month of Ramadhan, Mr Odongo Muhammad, who has a family of 2 boys and a wife, has attended Juma prayers at Gulu Supreme Mosque. The imam has given a sermon on payment of zakat- al- Fitr before prayers on Eid day.
Task
Write a dialogue between you and Mr Odongo. Assist Mr Odongo Muhammad to know what he is supposed to do before Eid ul Fitr prayers. Talk about the meaning of zakat, its different types, the
Quranic verses to explain its importance, the items from which zakat is paid and the categories of people entitled to receive zakat.
