Context
Mr Isingalo’s family is having a problem of bow-legs. All their children are having curved legs and it is thought to have been inherited from their grandfather who had the same. The six months baby is also showing signs of developing the same. The community nutritionist has recommended that she should increase on the intake of calcium to avoid developing the bow-leg.
Task
1. Write down some foodstuffs which can be included in their diet to improve on the above situation.
2. As a learner of nutrition and food technology, what advice would you give to parent/caregivers with children having the above case.
3. Prepare for them one meal rich in calcium using some of the mentioned foods you have written down.
