Child abuse is when a child is denied his or her rights.  A child is someone below eighteen years.  Some of the causes of child abuse are poverty, alcoholism, broken families, insecurity and others.  Children can be abused by beating, burning, laboring, defiling, kidnapping etc.  Children should be protected in order to live a happy life.

Mr. and Mrs. Muganga have two children.  These are Laura and Lenny.  Lenny got an accident and one of his leg was cut off.  He does not go to school because his parents think that he cant do anything.  Lenny is not happy because he is mistreated by his parents.  Laura goes to Winston Day and Boarding Primary school everyday.  She is happy because she gets all her rights.  All children should be given their rights.
