ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS

PRACTICAL QUESTION ONE
1. Using a word processing application, load the article in a file Modernization .rtf and save it as your First name and today’s date.

1. Include the title of the article as “Modernization theory” in upper case.
2. Centre, Bold and apply a font color green with size 20 and a dotted underline to the title above.
3. Justify and apply font size 14 in Times New Roman to the body of the document with a light blue background color.
4. Indent the paragraph under MARXIST VERSES CAPITALIST to 1cm left and right
5. Generate Table of Content for the article automatically on the first page.
6. On page two draw an Oval shape centered in the middle of the content in paragraph 1.1 with height 5.27cm and width 6.43cm.
7. Fill the Oval shape with image Nutrionist.png and send it behind text
8. Double strike through the content under Capitalist sub heading
9. Apply bullets on the economic causes of under development as cited.
10. Insert an image jpg in the middle of paragraph 1.4.1
    • Wrap it tight in text.
    • Resize it to height of 0cm and width of 4.07cm.
    • Reflect the image so that the tree is on the right, like this

11. Add page numbers in the format 1of 2. (Page X of Y) in the footer section
12. Add a header of your names and combination
13. Insert an end note in the last paragraph as document source: as http://www.develoment.com
14. Include tri.jpg image as a water mark.
15. On the Final Stage of Development content apply a copy right symbol and a registered trade mark symbol on line one and two respectively
16. Perform a spell check in your document to remove all spelling and grammatical errors.
17. Create a purple shadow page boarder of 6pts on only page 1 of the article.
18. Print only page one and two of your work, Save changes and close the file

PRACTICAL QUESTION TWO

You have been asked to send acknowledgement letters to people who have so far made contributions towards the food program. The letter content is the same for all persons except the addresses, name and nature of contributions. Below is the letter to be sent and a table of people who have made contributions

a. Make a duplicate of this work on to another page without retyping.

b. Use appropriate method in any word processing program to make a letter to be sent to each person in a table.

c. Fill the second paragraph with a green colour.

d. Insert a water mark only to this page as “Food Program”.

e. Make the water mark with a Red Colour, an outline of green with weight 2¹/

f. Insert a heart art page border on all your work except page one.

g. Insert page numbers at the top of your document of the vertical outline form.

h. Apply a footer of your names and class in upper case

i. Save your work as your name

(a) Using a suitable word processor of your choice, draw the following Venn diagram as it appears together with accompanying text, on page one of the document

(b) Go to page 2 and type the following mathematical equations;

(c) insert a watermark of your names

(d) Save all your work as Mathematical Formulas
