1. What are the advantages of using papier-mâché as a material?
a) Can be used in textiles.
b) They are light-weight.
c) When Paper Mache is dried, they can be strong as build form.
d) They are inexpensive and are available.

It is a light material made from paper pulp and glue, which can be moulded when wet and painted when dry.
3. Describe the best techniques in papier-mâché.
a) Making papier Mache pulp is fun. It turns into a kind of “putty” or clay. and can be used to shape anything you want really. Papier Mache pulp works best if “pressed into bowls” or other moulds.
b) You can use cardboard to build basic frames – using masking tape or ordinary tape to connect parts together and then carefully layer it with newspaper strips.
