Study the photograph provided below and answer the questions that follow

(a) Draw a landscape sketch of the area shown on the photograph and on it, mark and name;

  • The drainage feature,
  • Cliff,
  • Traction and saltation load
  • Two vegetation types, (10 marks)

(b) Identify and account for the characteristics of the drainage feature.

(c) Explain the problems faced by the people living in the area.

(d) Giving reasons for your answer, suggest an area in East Africa where this photograph could have been taken. (02 marks)

 

6. Study the photograph provided below and answer the questions that follow;

(a) (i) Name the type of photograph provided.           (01 mark)

(ii) Draw a sketch of the area shown on the photograph, on it mark and name;

  • River valley.
  • Vegetation types.
  • Water body. (09 marks)

(b) (i) Account for the formation of lagoons shown on the photograph.

(ii)     Describe the conditions necessary for the formation of a delta.

(c) Outline the importances of deltas to man.   (05 marks)

(d) Giving reasons for your answer,suggest an area inE. Africa where this photograph could have been taken. (02 marks)
