1. Our post appreciates the religions we had in East Africa before the coming of foreign religion. The coming of new religion like Christianity and Islam contributed a lot to the political, social and economic development of East Africa. Despite this, some of the converts were killed in 1886 at Namugongo and other parts of Uganda.
