1. You have been invited by the village leaders to be a chief guest in the opening up of ‘’BUGEMA SAVINGS AND CREDIT COOPERATIVE SOCCIETY SACCO ‘’ in Mbale city. In not more than 100 words, give a speech to the village people explaining to them about ‘’MEMBERSHIP IN SACCO, SAVINGS, CREDITS AND BENEFITS to the members ‘’ (20 MARKS)

2. Watongola is a trader in the village who wishes to increase demand for his products sold, however he is ignorant about how to attract customers. Advise him on what to do. (20mks)

3. Barugahare is a graduate of kyambogo University who did social work and social administration (SWASA) course, He is appointed to be the tax manager of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) – Jinja branch, however he cannot help and tax payers keep asking about some of the taxes they should pay and others frequently complain why they have to pay taxes. As a tax expert, Assist Barugahare to serve the residents of Jinja well . (20mks)

4. Opokire has been saving with one of the banks around town for now 8 years, he has accumulated a total saving of shs 2,700,000. Last month he checked his account surprisingly only to find shs 49,000 only. He affirms that the bank has no serious role to serve and so useless. Advise Opokire. (20mks)

5. Mulindwa works with consumer protection association but being new in the system, he wants to know about consumer protection. Advise Mulindwa about. (a) ways in which consumers are abused (10 marks) (b) Describe the challenges faced in consumer protection (10mks)
