A new school has been established in the sub county in the rural area of Uganda. The area allocated to the school is about 20 acres. Some part of the place was cleared to allow the construction of buildings and roads. This school facility needs to provide a conducive learning environment.
The owners tried to create well kept gardens. A lawn was made after landscaping. This area has a lot of grass and other plants. Once in while you see birds perching on the plants. While other animals peep and hide when they hear vibrations of walking people. This means there are many organisms in the lawn.
The number of plants, birds and other wildlife increases as you go towards the remaining areas yet to be developed. In the evening and early in the morning you get a new breath of life in the school area. Some parents and young kids on visitation day enjoy this environment with its diversity.
The Board of Governors of the new school on their first meeting on touring the school found it having a lot of weeds, crawling insects and many wildlife.
Task: write a paper to the Board of Governors giving a biological explanation to their observation.
