Sample activity of integration – Drama

Crime is a growing problem in Uganda. Imagine that there has been a sharp increase of petty theft in your community. People’s belongings are constantly being stolen out of their bags and even from their persons: cell phones, jewellery, watches, purses and other personal items. The police have not caught any culprits, their hands being full with more serious crimes. Community members decide to stage a play to warn people of the problem of petty theft and how they can prevent it by taking greater care with their belongings.

Imagine that they have asked you to write and direct the play. Write a play to bring the message across. Remember to consider:
