Context

Your Biology teacher taught you about plant roots. You realise some of your friends did not commit some of the facts to memory. Your Performing Arts teacher has aligned some of the text with the rhythm passages below.

Tasks

1. Compose a melody to the given words and rhythm using sol-fa with leaps limited to a third.
2. Write your composition on the treble stave using either key Cor G Major.

3. Sing the song and apply a few tempo expressions. You may record and upload your recording to any social media platform. Share the link with your teacher and parents.
