Sample Activity of Integration – Food Spoilage and Preservation

In Uganda most children in the country pack food which in most cases remains from the night’s supper. Food items that are kept for a long period of time and not stored properly get spoilt. Such food items cause food poisoning and bad health as germs start growing on them. Spoilage is a process in which food items deteriorate to the point in which they are not edible to humans.
