Sample activity of integration – Introduction

You have visited some of your relatives in the village. You find out that the people in the village have various problems. There is shortage of water because the two wells from which they fetch water are now dry. Most of the trees in the village and on hill slopes were cut down and used as wood fuel. There is severe soil erosion and soils are now infertile. The green grazing fields are now bare and dusty because domestic animals have over-grazed the pasture. The only river that could be an alternative source of water is contaminated with wastewater from a nearby coffee factory and domestic animals.

Write an action plan that can be used to rehabilitate the land and restore the land to its useful and productive state.
