Sample activity of integration- Modern Communication technology

A highly contagious disease has been spreading among the population and has now reached the remote rural areas of the country. The healthcare workers in that area have very little knowledge of modern communication technology.

To remain up to date with treatments and nursing techniques, they will need to communicate with other hospitals and clinics via smartphones, emails and live video calls. The World Health Organization has provided smartphones and computers for rural clinics, and you, as one of a team of volunteers, are training the healthcare workers in a clinic to use the technology. Write a conversation between you, as the trainer, and a healthcare worker at the clinic in which you explain the uses of smartphones and computers to communicate quickly and easily with others. In this writing exercise, include technical vocabulary advantages and disadvantages of communication devices.
