Sample activity of integration on LSC S1:Finding information


You are volunteering for a charity organisation and are doing research for a project onwater supply to Ugandan villages. You would like to make people aware of Uganda’swater and sanitation crisis and hope to get other organizations to help. Start by finding out some facts, such as how many Ugandans do not have access to safe water. Find as many facts as possible to build awareness. Use as many different sources as possible. Remember to note the sources.
Conduct a survey to find out how people are feeling about the water crisis. Write a summary, summarizing your findings. Finally, consider your findings and list ways to help resolve the crisis.
