Sample Activity of Integration on LSC S1:Measurements, Density

Sample Activity of Integration
Most societies in Uganda depend on spring/well water for drinking. Most of the water is consumed directly without treating. Untreated water may contain any number of contaminants, such as: bacteria, viruses, parasites, heavy metals, pesticides, fertilisers, and human and animal waste.
These contaminants are rarely visible to the naked eye and may cause a variety of ailments, including: diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting and even pneumonia. Taking water that is contaminated has resulted in diarrheal illnesses and enteropathy with the heaviest impact upon children below the age of five in your village.
