During breakfast, a couple of learners served four eggs each. They greatly enjoyed the eggs and morning tea. After that, the alimentary canal did its job. Some of the eaten food reached the liver and the small intestines. The nutrients absorbed by the body were from only the two eggs and the one cup of tea. The proteins were broken down into amino acids and urea. These products were carried in the bloodstream. The urea was filtered by the kidney from blood. The water – soluble urea was released out of the body as urine. Yet in the blood capillaries there were plenty of amino acids moving into the cells. One learner was happy that, finally, the eggs were building the body. The editor of the school magazine got interested in what happens when you eat food like eggs.
Write a scientific article on how eggs are assimilated into the body for publication in the magazine.
