Sample Activity of Intergration – Nature Soil and Soil Conservation

In the Eastern part of Uganda, farmers are in a dilemma after rain washing away
the top soil and all plants in it leaving at risk of high food shortages. The area is hilly
and mountainous and therefore prone to land slides. The farmers in this area largely
depend on their natural environment for both subsistence agriculture and energy
sources for home use and thus has also contributed to natural calamities in the area.
