World Wars and their Impact in East Africa – Sample Activity

Context

The people in northeastern Uganda are faced with a lot of insecurity due to cattle rustling and land wrangles in the Karamoja region, Teso region and neighbouring western Kenya. The Government of Uganda has taken the step of involving the local people in these regions to help contain these conflicts.
