The gadgets that we use on a daily basis such as radios, phones, computers, microphones, TVs, projectors and cameras are ICT tools. ICT tools are commonly used in various fields such as health, education, transport, banking and agriculture. Therefore, ICT practical knowledge and skills are crucial for every individual to survive in the 21st Century.

This Learner's Book has been written in line with the NCDC Revised Lower Secondary Curriculum ICT Syllabus. The book has a range of activities which will be conducted both within and outside the classroom setting. The activities are well-planned to enable you to actively and cheerfully participate in the acquisition of knowledge and skills, You are to work as an individual, in pairs and in a group according to the nature of each activity.
