Sociology in medicine is concerned with how sociology collaborates directly with the role of the physician and other health personnel in an attempt to study the social factors that are relevant to a particular health problem.
The sociology of medicine on the other hand, deals with such factors as the organization, role relationships, norms, values and beliefs of medical practice as a form of human behaviour.
