ALFA&OLFA applique and patch work

Applique;

A method of decorating a fabric in which another piece of fabric is sewn, fixed, stapled to another fabric to create patterns especially female skirts and bed sheets.

Techniques used in applique include patch work and quilting.

Macramme; is a form of textile making using knotting rather than weaving or knitting.
