PRE COLONIAL ACTIVITIES IN EAST AFRICA

This unit explains more about the activities carried at the East African coast before the coming of colonialists , theses includes; trading activities like long distance trade where Africans were moving with their goods from the interior to the coastal areas . societies like Nyamwezi , Buganda participated in the long distance trade . so in this unit we shall look at the activities that were carried at the east African coast before the coming of the colonialists .
