  6. appreciate the contribution of South Korea, Japan and Singapore.

  1. How would you explain socialism to a friend, and why might some people prefer this economic system in East Africa?
  2. what capitalism means and why individuals might like capitalism?
  3. If East Africa wanted to implement more socialist policies, how might it affect the distribution of resources?
  4. What are some potential challenges that might arise from too much focus on capitalism in a country like Uganda?
  5. Imagine you are an economic advisor. Develop a proposal for an economic system that you believe would benefit East African countries.
